The Merriab-Webster Dictionary defines worldview as “a comprehensive conception or apprehension of the world especially from a specific standpoint.” In other words, your worldview is the way in which you view the world. Like those who use glasses and look through a pair of lens to see, your worldview is the “lens” through which you see and understand life.

If you take a quick look at the world, you’ll notice that there are tons of different worldviews and belief systems. But can they all be true? Is there even such a thing as truth? Who determines which belief is superior? Is Christianity the only way to God? And if so, why? These are questions that we get a lot, but the good news is: we have answers.

Join us on Friday nights for SWAT as we begin our new series Wordlview. You will learn about 10 of the most common worldviews and religions, and what they believe about God and humanity. You will also learn how to think about these beliefs in light of the Bible and the Christian faith, so that you can learn to detect error and share the truth. Not only will you be informed about different religions, but you will learn how to interact with them and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Come and see why Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6)–and why it is true!

We meet in the Loft at 6 P.M. every Friday. See you there!
