It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas!

Whether you’re giddy like Buddy the Elf or grumpy like Scrooge, Christmas is here! The lights and trees in the stores during October hinted at its coming, but there’s one thing that constantly reminds us it’s fully here: Christmas music. In the stores, on the radio, in the living room as moms and grandmas hum, in the neighborhoods as carolers sing, Christmas music is everywhere. Some start listening to it in July, while others reluctantly wake up to it after their tryptophan-induced turkey coma on Thanksgiving evening. Since we’ll constantly here the festive tunes, we might as well listen to good Christmas music, right?

Some Christmas songs are fun, some are annoying, and others are actually worship. We want you to know that there is music other than the traditional “Deck the Halls” and “Jingle Bells” and the awkward “Santa Baby.” You don’t have to just sing about six geese-a-laying and eight maids-a-milking, or that you want a hippopotamus and your two front teeth for Christmas.

Christmas is about Christ. And Christmas songs that are biblical and Christ-centered can help us remember the true “reason for the season.” Check out the awesome Christmas albums below!
